It was a hot summer night at the famous country bar in El Paso, Whiskey Dicks, where God was about to fulfill His plan for the course of their lives. Paola and Christian, both attended the same high school, where they became acquaintances. When they met again, the reconnection was instant. The time apart ceased to exist. July 11th of 2019 marked the beginning of their beautiful adventure.

Era una calurosa noche de verano en el famoso bar country en El Paso, Whiskey Dicks, en donde Dios estaba apunto de llevar a cabo su plan para sus vidas. Paola y Christian asistieron a la misma preparatoria en donde se volvieron conocidos. Cuando se encontraron de nuevo, la reconexión fue instantánea. Fue como si el tiempo sin verse no hubiera pasado. El 11 de Julio del 2019 marca el comienzo de esta bella aventura.

Ever since seeing each other again, they would both look forward meeting at the country bar every Thursday. Christian would always promise Paola to take her out to dance before the night ended. However, being such a popular guy, his plan would often fail. It wasn't until the last song being played on September 13th, 2024 that he ran to grab her for a last dance. Unfortunately, Paola was wearing sandals that specific night (who wears sandals to a country bar? Anyway...). All of a sudden, an extreme toe pain came into place due to being stepped on. Knowing that he wanted to take care of her for the rest of his life, he ran to get help for the injury.

Desde que se volvieron a encontrar, los dos siempre esperaban con ansia los jueves de la semana para volver a encontrarse. Christian siempre le prometía a Paola que la iba a sacar a bailar antes de que terminara la noche. Sin embargo, como él era un chico tan popular, su plan nunca funcionaba. No fue hasta la ultima canción que tocaba el 13 de Septiembre del 2019, cuando el por fin corrió a buscarla para sacarla a bailar. Desafortunadamente, Paola traia sandalias puestas específicamente esa noche (Quién sale a bailar country en sandalias? Continuemos...). Derrepente, un tremendo dolor de uña llegó a causa de un pisotón. El, sabiendo que la querría cuidar por el resto de su vida, corrió a buscar ayuda para su herida.

They both decided to give love a chance and started officially talking. All throughout this period and up until they became official, Christian had to put up with all of Paola's family and friends looking out for the safety of her toenails and people asking if he was "the nail guy". Fortunately, that didn't last long for him. On February of 2020, she invited him on a ski trip to Ruidoso with her friends. Paola was going wild on the snow and didn't realize that Christian fell and dislocated his shoulder. Paola was now the one the blame for Christian's pain. After all, this pain brought their love to life.

Los dos decidieron darse una oportunidad y empezaron a salir oficialmente. Durante todo este periodo y hasta que empezaron a ser novios, Christian tuvo que aguantar a todos los amigos y la familia de Paola cuidando que la uña de ella no fuera lastimada y le preguntaban que si el era "el chico de la uña". Afortunadamente, eso no le duro mucho a el. En Febrero del 2020, ella lo invito a esquiar en un viaje de amigos a Ruidoso. Paola se andaba volviendo loca en la nieve y no se dio cuenta que Christian se cayo y se disloco el hombro. Paola era ahora la culpable del dolor de Christian. Después de todo, este dolor le dio vida a su amor.

After a couple of unique adventures they got to live with each other, Christian knew that he wanted Paola to be his girlfriend. On February 14th, 2020, while he was dropping her off at home after having had dinner with his family, Paola noticed that he became a little nervous. She could feel it coming and was anxious to hear it already. By pulling out a rose from inside of his coat, Christian finally asked: "Would you be my girlfriend?"

Después de un par de aventuras únicas que pudieron vivir juntos, Christian sabia que quería que Paola fuera su novia. El 14 de Febrero del 2020, cuando el la estaba dejando en su casa después de haber cenado con su familia, Paola noto que él se había puesto un poco nervioso. Ella podia sentir lo que venia y estaba ansiosa por escucharlo. Sacando una rosa que tenia escondida dentro de su saco, Christian finalmente le pregunto: Quieres ser mi novia?

After getting to know each other in many aspects of life, they both knew they wanted to share the rest of their lives together. Fast forward to February 4th of 2023, Christian planned a surprised proposal for Paola along with the closest family and friends. He managed to organize all this without her noticing a single thing. She thought they were just going to take pictures for their anniversary, since that is a usual thing for them. All of a sudden, Christian stepped behind her for the big moment. With all the present family and friends acting as incognito and hiding in the surrounding restaurants and bars, she turned around, he got on one knee and he asked her: "Would you marry me?"

Después de haberse conocido en varios aspectos de sus vidas, los dos supieron que querían compartir el resto de sus vidas juntos. Avance rápido al 4 de Febrero del 2023, Christian planeo una propuesta sorpresa para Paola junto con la familia cercana y amigos. Él se encargó de organizar todo esto sin que ella se diera cuenta. Ella pensó que solamente se iban a ir a tomar fotos por su aniversario ya que esto es algo usual para ellos. De pronto, Christian se hizo un paso atrás de ella para el gran momento. Con la familia y amigos presentes actuando de incógnito y escondiéndose en los bares y restaurantes de alrededor, ella se dio la media vuelta, el se hinco y le pregunto: Te quieres casar conmigo?
